Alessi — Menage Stopper — The Detail That Completes the Table

There is a quiet care in the way certain objects occupy the table: they do not impose themselves, but their absence would be noticed immediately. Alessi's Menage Stopper is exactly that — a gesture of formal coherence that completes the circle of a service designed down to the smallest detail. Because even what is barely visible deserves the same attention as what is at the center of the scene.

Why we chose it for you

Since 1921, Alessi has transformed everyday objects into small works of applied design. Founded as an artisan workshop on the shores of Lake Orta, the company has built a formal language recognized worldwide, collaborating with the great names of Italian design — from Mendini to Castiglioni, and Sottsass onward. This stopper is no exception to that philosophy: it is designed to complete the Menage service with the same precision of finish and stylistic coherence that distinguish every piece in the collection. A replacement part, yes — but also a cornerstone of the table's identity.

Ideal for

Those who already own the Alessi Menage service and want to keep it intact over time, replacing a worn or lost element without giving up the set's coherence. It is also a useful addition to a gift already given, or a discreet thoughtful gesture for anyone who loves a table carefully considered in every aspect.
