Alessi — Plissè | Gray Toaster Tongs Design

Alessi Plissè — The everyday gesture, with style

There’s something satisfying about removing a slice of bread from a still-hot toaster, without rushing or burning yourself. Alessi’s Plissè tongs turn this small morning ritual into a thoughtful moment, where even the simplest object tells a story of attention to detail.

Why we chose them for you

Since 1921, Alessi has worked at the intersection of industry and applied arts, creating objects that find a place in kitchens around the world without ever giving up their identity. The Plissè tongs follow this same philosophy: practical accessories that don’t belong hidden away in a drawer, but deserve to be kept on display. The pleated texture that gives them their name is not just decorative - it provides a secure grip and evokes the tactile pleasure Alessi brings even to the most ordinary gestures.
