Stilmobili — Maiko | Sponge Holder

My Maiko store — The ritual of care as an aesthetic choice

Certain objects have the ability to redefine the perception of a space, even in its most ordinary functions. Maiko enters the bathroom discreetly and remains there as an element of visual coherence: its clean form naturally complements noble materials such as marble, wood, and brushed metals, transforming every daily gesture into something deliberately beautiful.

The Maiko project

Maiko stems from the idea that even the simplest accessories deserve the same formal rigor as the structural elements of a space. The solid color and essential lines fit equally well in a minimalist bathroom and in a more elaborate space, never competing with the surroundings, but supporting them. The structure is designed to accommodate the sponge discreetly, while ensuring proper drying and easy cleaning: two qualities that are never secondary details in a space dedicated to personal care. It is in this synthesis of function and form that Maiko expresses its raison d'être — not a decorative accessory superimposed on the space, but an object that actively contributes to the harmony of the whole.
