Tauro — Time Takes Shape on the Wall

There is something hypnotic about the way Tauro occupies the wall: the clean geometry of the square base engages with the contrasting-color dial, while Roman and Arabic numerals alternate like witnesses to two eras speaking to each other. It is not just a tool for measuring the hours - it is a piece that changes the perception of a room, transforming a neutral space into a visual story.

Why we chose it for you

Arti & Mestieri was founded in 1977 when Massimo Tani and Alberto Conti came together around a precise idea: every object should add aesthetic value to what is useful, never sacrificing one for the other. Tauro perfectly embodies this philosophy - iron and marble merge in a two-element composition that brings together formal rigor and material warmth. An Italian artisan creation whose craftsmanship can be seen in the details and felt in its solidity.

Ideal for

A housewarming gift for someone with taste who will not settle for generic decor. A visual focal point in the living room or entryway, where the first glance should say something precise about the character of the person who lives there. Also suitable for anyone who wants to balance a contemporary setting with a classic reference, without falling into literal quotation.
