Legnomagia — Foglia | Wooden Salad Tongs

Legnomagia "Foglia" Salad Tongs - Nature Interpreted at the Table

There are kitchen objects that stop being simple utensils the moment they are placed on the table. Legnomagia's "Foglia" Salad Tongs are one of them: their presence during a meal becomes an aesthetic gesture, an invitation to slow down and observe the material with different eyes.

The "Foglia" Design

Legnomagia works with wood using the kind of artisanal discretion that does not imitate nature, but interprets it. The two elements of the tongs develop into a sinuous, symmetrical profile that recalls the organic shape of a leaf: the curves correspond, while the wood's natural texture brings with it the color variations and grain patterns unique to each piece. The result is a tool that is never identical to another, because the material itself determines part of the final design. The presence of ceramic in the composition introduces a contrast of materials that enriches the object without weighing it down, balancing the warmth of the wood with a more ethereal and refined note.
