Mogg — Bastaaa | Marcantonio Designer Coat Rack

Mogg Bastaaa — The irony of a hammer transformed into furniture

Three hammers hung on the wall, ready to hold coats, bags, and scarves. Bastaaa transforms the universal impulse - that liberating urge to break everything - into a furnishing element that brings character and lightness to an entryway, hallway, or bedroom.

The Bastaaa design

Designed by Marcantonio for Mogg, Bastaaa was born from an ironic and precise idea: the object most charged with emotional tension - the hammer - becomes a tool of welcome. The handle is made of natural olive ash, with the wood grain adding warmth and texture; the striking head is made of cast brass with a polished finish, a detail that elevates the object from the realm of play to that of artisanal quality. The package includes three pieces, designed to be arranged freely on the wall, creating a small sculptural tableau with a strong narrative character.
