Flou Toshi — Essential Geometry for the Night
A bedside table where rounded form meets construction precision. The polished metal rings, set into the surface, create a dialogue of depth and lightness: each drawer becomes a compositional element, and each handle is a deliberate dissolution. Toshi is nighttime elegance designed for those who recognize the value of carefully considered detail.
The Toshi Project
In 2025, Carlo Colombo designed a collection of bedroom accessories where simplicity and material research come together. The two-drawer bedside table features metal rings—available in gold, black nickel, and chrome finishes—that interact with the structure in lacquer, coffee-stained ash, ebony, or leather upholstery. The top, a distinctive element, can be made of marble or leather with a slight bevel that facilitates keeping objects contained. The absence of traditional handles and the contrasting finishes enhance the purity of the design, transforming every surface into a statement of formal balance.
