Flou Pierre - Asymmetric islands for contemporary relaxation
Pierre does not follow the conventional geometry of the sofa: its irregular forms and asymmetric backrests reshape the space around the person seated, creating quiet corners that seem to have come about by chance, yet are the result of precise consideration of how we give ourselves over to rest.
The Pierre Design
Designed in 2023 by Studio Contromano for Flou, Pierre was created as an open compositional system. The curved, enveloping backrests - soft, padded, and upholstered with the same care as the seats - define the silhouette of each module without ever making it rigid. Combined with the coffee tables and poufs from the matching collection, Pierre sofas lend themselves to original and playful compositions: configurations that change with the needs of the space, equally suited to private residences and more sophisticated public settings. The cover is completely removable, in fabric or leather, ensuring care over time that matches the quality of the construction.
