Flou — Icon Double | Colombo Design Bed
AVAILABLE TO ORDER
Flou Icon - The Rigour That Softens
Some beds occupy a room, while others define it. Flou's Icon belongs to the second category: its presence is both confident and welcoming, capable of giving a bedroom character without ever overpowering its balance.
The Icon Design
Designed by Carlo Colombo in 2018, Icon was born from a precise creative tension: combining a strong aesthetic - clear lines and decisive proportions - with the softness that only generous padding can provide. The result is a double bed with a strong yet never cold character, in which the upholstered headboard interacts with the metal details of the feet, creating a refined contrast between textile material and industrial precision. The visible, carefully calibrated stitching becomes a decorative element: a sign of craftsmanship attentive to details that reveal themselves up close. The sleeping surface is available with adjustable slats or an electric mechanism, adapting to different sleeping habits without sacrificing the design's formal coherence.
