A cabinet that transforms a passion for cigars into an object of devotion. Gentleman is the contemporary interpretation of the traditional humidor, where aesthetic research meets preservation engineering. Every detail reveals a profound reflection on materiality and the everyday ritual of choosing.
The Gentleman Project
In 2014, Carlo Colombo created an icon of living room furniture: a curved plywood structure upholstered in leather with a tone-on-tone or contrasting leather piping around the perimeter, enclosing a refined interior in matte ebony. The upper compartment, entirely lined in Spanish Cedar, houses trays and a humidifier drawer equipped with a hygrometer for monitoring humidity. The top is available in ebony or marble, while the upper section is closed by a bronzed tempered glass door with a burnished frame. The lower section features leather doors with matching handles. An internal battery-powered spotlight illuminates the collection. A work of furniture tailoring, where every material is chosen for durability and beauty.
