Flou Flora — Modular seating that reshapes every space
Flora has no definitive configuration. It can be arranged, combined, and reinvented: a seating system designed for those who want their living space to respond fluidly to the needs of the moment, without ever giving up the elegance of form.
The Flora Project
Designed by Ilenia Viscardi in 2021 for Flou, Flora was born from the idea of compositional freedom. Single and double seats can be placed side by side without constraints, creating open and unconventional configurations that adapt equally well to indoor environments and covered outdoor spaces. The lines are understated and light, able to integrate into different settings without imposing their presence. A deliberately graphic detail defines the project: the black zipper running along the profile of the seat and backrest, precisely marking the curvature of the upholstery and transforming a functional element into an aesthetic signature. The cover - available in fabric or leather - is completely removable, designed for easy maintenance and for those who enjoy being able to change it over time. Completing the system is a removable "mantle", available in the same material as the cover or in a contrasting colour: a further gesture of personalisation that adds depth to the composition.
