Alessi — Dressed | Cake Server Designed by Wanders

Alessi "Dressed" Cake Server - The Decoration That Hides, the Elegance That Remains

There is something quietly sophisticated about bringing to the table a server that keeps its beauty in the least expected places. Marcel Wanders' Dressed series plays with paradox: the decoration does not impose itself; it reveals itself. A daily gesture - serving a slice of cake - thus becomes a small ritual of style, experienced with the natural ease of someone who knows that details matter even when they cannot be seen.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi, founded in 1921 on Lake Orta, has made collaboration with leading designers a statement of industrial design philosophy. Designed by Marcel Wanders, Dressed is a precise example: the decoration is applied to the unobtrusive areas of the object, almost hidden, like a beautiful outfit designed to enhance the person wearing it rather than outshine them. The mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel reflects the understated luminosity that distinguishes objects designed to last - in the kitchen and in the home aesthetic.
