Atmosphere - Evolve Velvet | Globe Lamp

Evolve Velvet is a globe lamp that brings an ancient inspiration into contemporary design: the Silk Road, precious fabrics, and luxury perceived even before it is touched. The impact-resistant polystyrene sphere - thirty centimeters in diameter, suspended on a velvet-covered nylon base - creates a presence in the room that is both tactile and luminous, where the soft texture of the surface contrasts elegantly with the sharpness of the underlying cartography.

Designed by the Danish studio Tools®, founded by Henrik Holbæk and Claus Jensen - with more than three hundred and fifty international design awards to their name - Evolve Velvet gives form to the philosophy that has always guided Atmosphere NewWorld: the globe as an object of culture, capable of bringing the true perception of distances, oceans, and the complexity of the world into everyday life. The English-language cartography is precisely updated, and the print is of superior quality.

When the integrated LED light is switched on - 2W, 3000K, a warm and enveloping tone - the velvet of the base comes to life with iridescent reflections, and the sphere transforms into a light source capable of redefining the atmosphere of an entire room. At thirty-eight centimeters high, Evolve Velvet does not simply occupy a space: it interprets it.
