Alessi — You MMI25 | Polished stainless steel tea maker

There is something surprisingly intimate about the simplest object in the tea ceremony. You is a tea infuser - that is, an infuser for loose leaves - presented as a small linear sculpture: polished 18/10 stainless steel, essential proportions, a silhouette that slips between the fingers with the discretion of well-designed tools. Its compact dimensions - just three centimeters wide and fourteen and a half centimeters long - make it precise and easy to handle, capable of transforming the everyday act of infusion into something intentional. You was created by Miriam Mirri, a Roman designer with an eclectic profile and a pop sensibility never separated from a deep attention to function. Mirri worked with Alessi for many years as part of the Alessi Palinsesto project, the research platform that supports the Crusinallo manufacturer in exploring new languages for everyday domestic objects. Her approach - ironic, measured, never superficial - finds one of its most restrained expressions in You: no superfluous gesture, just the right form for the right gesture. In the catalog for the fall/winter season, You is the kind of object that Stilmobili chooses for those who know the difference between owning something and living with it. It is ideal for anyone who prepares tea with the same care they use to choose a book or a record: someone who recognizes the value of detail and has no need to flaunt it. A thoughtful gift, small in size but rich in meaning. Project notes: Polished 18/10 stainless steel. Dimensions 3 × 2.5 × 14.5 cm. Weight 75 g. EAN code 8003299340972.
