Alessi — Vigo AMMI302R AMMI302R D | Red steel bookends by Mirri

Vigo is an object that makes its presence felt discreetly, as only truly well-considered pieces can. Made of steel coated with epoxy resin in a vivid, tactile red, this bookend brings a sculptural presence that transforms the bookcase into a visual composition. Its sinuous, vaguely anthropomorphic form rests against the volumes with disarming naturalness, holding together both the books and the gaze of anyone passing through the room. Vigo is the work of Miriam Mirri, a Roman designer with an unmistakable style, capable of combining formal irony with structural rigor. The piece is part of Alessi's A collection, an editorial project that gave voice to a generation of European designers with a personal and recognizable language. Like many objects in this line, Vigo was created with the ambition of inhabiting the domestic space not as an accessory, but as a narrative presence. At Stilmobili, we chose Vigo for those who consider their desk and bookcase extensions of their identity. It is the ideal gift for a curious professional, a creative studio, or anyone who loves every corner of their home to tell a story. The intense red of the epoxy coating dialogues with the clean lines of the steel and suits both minimalist and more eclectic settings. Design notes: the compact dimensions - 15.5 × 11 × 23 cm - make it a precise, easy-to-handle object, designed for shelves and work surfaces. As a discontinued piece from Alessi's A collection, availability is limited: one of those purchases that, over time, acquire the quiet value of rarity.
