Alessi — Veneer PU06 | Urquiola Design Multifunction Bowl

Alessi Veneer - Steel that breathes like wood

Some objects transform the table into a story. Patricia Urquiola's Veneer bowl for Alessi is one of them: the raised relief running across the steel surface recalls the natural grain of wood, bringing warmth and movement to a material that is naturally cold and linear. Holding it in your hands is already an experience; placing it on the table is a gesture of style.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Orta as a craft workshop, and since then it has never stopped exploring what a kitchen object can become when it meets great design. Veneer, designed by Patricia Urquiola, perfectly embodies this philosophy: it is not simply a bowl, but an exercise in texture and three-dimensionality that transforms 18/10 stainless steel into something organic and alive. A piece that Stilmobili chose because it works just as well on a set table as it does on a surface as an independent decorative element.
