Alessi — UT108 | Cherry wood lemon squeezer

There is something deeply intimate about the act of squeezing a lemon by hand. UT108 transforms it into a moment of tactile pleasure: made of cherry wood, it brings the wood's natural warmth, its unique grain, and its smooth surface that invites touch. Its compact dimensions - fourteen centimeters long and five in diameter - make it a precise, balanced tool, designed to fit gracefully in the hand of whoever uses it. An object that already evokes the scent of a slow morning and a carefully prepared breakfast. UT108 was created through a collaboration between Kuno Prey and Alberto Gozzi for Alessi, two designers capable of restoring formal dignity to the most overlooked everyday objects. A designer from South Tyrol with a European education, Prey has always been interested in the relationship between natural materials and domestic function: in this lemon squeezer, that tension is resolved with elegance, without excess, allowing the wood to speak through its quiet, warm presence. We chose it for Stilmobili because it is exactly the kind of object that sums up our philosophy: it doesn't need to amaze, it needs to move you. UT108 is the perfect gift for those who love the kitchen as a space for care and mindfulness, and for those who collect functional design pieces without giving in to decoration for its own sake. Ideal for a kitchen with a natural soul, in dialogue with stone, wood, or raw linen surfaces. Project notes: cherry wood, chosen not for fashion but for its intrinsic qualities - hardness, warmth of color, and tactile response - makes each piece slightly unique in its grain. Hand cleaning is recommended. Alessi collection, spring/summer lineup.
