Alessi — Tua MB03 | Officina Alessi carafe by Mario Botta

There is something architectural about the way Tua occupies space on the table. The polished 18/10 stainless steel carafe reflects light with almost geometric precision; its vertical, decisive profile asserts itself without imposing. The black polyamide handle interrupts the metal with a crisp gesture, almost like a graphic mark drawn on a mirrored surface. With a one-liter capacity and carefully calibrated dimensions - 15 × 9 × 29 cm - it balances function and sculpture. Mario Botta, one of the most influential Ticinese architects of the second half of the twentieth century, brings to Tua the same formal grammar that governs his buildings: pure volumes, material and chromatic contrasts, and a tension between rigor and warmth. The piece was created within Officina Alessi, the research and experimentation workshop in which the Italian manufacturer invites architects and designers - not necessarily connected to the world of products - to engage with the scale of everyday objects. The result is almost always an act of translation: a constructive language that becomes a form to hold in the hand. At Stilmobili, we chose Tua because it embodies with rare consistency the dual nature of Italian design: utility and beauty as a single, inseparable condition. It is the ideal carafe for those who do not want to distinguish between an object to use and one to display - for those who set the table as they would arrange an interior, with intention and taste. Project notes: mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel, matte black thermoplastic polyamide handle. Capacity 100 cl. Officina Alessi Collection. Fall/winter program.
