Alessi — Tsumiki ME01 RO | Red Orange portable lamp

There is something deeply tactile about the relationship with Tsumiki: it turns on when you brush against it, you carry it with you, and you place it wherever light is truly needed. Alessi's portable lamp is born from the meeting of metal and thermoplastic resin in a bright red-orange - a color that does not apologize, that asserts its presence in the space. The form is compact, almost sculptural: 33 centimeters high, enough to define a corner, a table, a moment of the evening. The capacitive touch dimmer responds to the lightest touch of the hand, modulating the intensity of the LED light with a naturalness that makes you forget the technical gesture. Tsumiki is a project designed by MEDUM for Alessi, a design studio working on the threshold between functional object and autonomous aesthetic presence. The name evokes Japanese building blocks - those simple, balanced forms designed to be handled - and gives the lamp an almost playful quality, a conceptual lightness that does not sacrifice material solidity. It is part of the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection, designed to accompany the months when artificial light once again becomes the protagonist of domestic life. At Stilmobili, we chose Tsumiki because it represents exactly the kind of object we love: it does not merely illuminate, it inhabits. It is ideal for those who want a light source independent of the electrical grid - on the bedside table, on a bookshelf, on the terrace - without giving up the visual identity of a designer piece. USB-C charging makes it compatible with the contemporary rhythm, with no fixed cables or aesthetic compromises. Project notes: body in metal and thermoplastic resin, Red Orange finish. 3.5W 5V LED source, rechargeable battery with USB-C cable. Integrated capacitive touch dimmer. Dimensions 16.4 × 11 × 33.7 cm.
