Alessi — Trinity ACO02 B | Black lacquered steel basket

There is something hypnotic about Trinity's geometry: a basket that does not merely contain, but organizes the space around it with the quiet precision of an object designed down to the last detail. Made of steel coated with epoxy resin in its black version, Trinity possesses the visual density that only saturated black can convey — a surface that absorbs light and returns pure form. Its generous diameter of 26 centimeters and compact height of 7 make it a horizontal tabletop element, capable of interacting with any surface: the marble of a dining table, the wood of a kitchen island, or the lacquer of an entryway console. Adam Cornish, an Australian designer based in London, is one of the most interesting voices among the new generation of Alessi collaborators. His approach combines formal rigor with attention to manufacturing details, with a preference for primary geometries interpreted in a contemporary way. Trinity was created as part of the Alessi program — a collection that explores the boundary between functional object and domestic sculpture, following the seasonal rhythm of the spring/summer lineup. We chose it for Stilmobili because it perfectly embodies the tension that interests us: the ability of an everyday object to rise above the ordinary without losing its usefulness. Trinity is ideal for those who furnish with intention, for those who know that even a basket can be an aesthetic statement. It is aimed at the contemporary home that accepts no compromises, and at the design gift for someone who already has everything — or thinks they do. Project notes: steel with a black epoxy resin finish, diameter 26 cm, height 7 cm. Weight 570 g. Suitable for domestic use as a centerpiece, catchall, or decorative element.
