Why we chose it for you

Tèo was created through a collaboration between Alessi — an Italian manufacturer founded in 1921 on Lake Orta, and long a research laboratory in the applied arts — and LUCY.D studio, with designer Karin Santorso. The design idea is as simple as it is effective: the concave handle is not merely an aesthetic element, but a tool. It allows you to remove the tea bag from the cup and gently squeeze it by sliding it through the handle, without burning yourself or making a mess. It is the kind of solution that, once discovered, seems obvious — and yet no one had designed it so well before.
