Alessi — Miniature Vase with Lid | Mendini Design

Alessi Miniature Lidded Vase — Form Becomes Sculpture

Small in size, intense in character. This miniature lidded vase by Alessandro Mendini captures, in just a few centimeters, the full decorative poetry of one of the masters of Italian design: precise lines, pristine material, and a presence that cannot be explained but can be felt. Placed on a shelf, a surface, or at the center of a display, it changes the visual weight of everything around it.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and gradually evolved into one of the world's most recognizable research laboratories for the applied arts. Its collaboration with Alessandro Mendini - one of the most influential architects, theorists, and colorists of the 20th century - produced objects that move naturally between art and function. This fine bone china miniature vase is a distilled example: a collectible piece that Stilmobili chose for those who see every household object as a style choice.
