Alessi — STEN ABGMP3631R | glass lid with red silicone knob

A circle of transparent glass, and then that touch of red: small, precise, capable of changing the character of the entire kitchen. STEN is a lid - an object that usually occupies a secondary role in the hierarchy of kitchen utensils - but Giulio Iacchetti transforms it into a complete design gesture. The steel knob with red silicone coating is not merely a functional detail: it is a chromatic signature, a fixed point in the cooktop's visual space. The clean, neutral glass lets the color speak for itself. Giulio Iacchetti is one of the most perceptive Italian designers when it comes to interpreting everyday objects. His work often focuses on what is taken for granted - the switch, the fork, the lid - and presents it anew as a formal challenge resolved with elegance. STEN belongs to the Alessi cookware collection, a field in which the Crusinallo brand has invested with conviction, bringing design culture into even the most ordinary gestures of the home kitchen. We chose STEN for those who consider the kitchen a space for aesthetic as well as practical care. Its 16 cm diameter makes it suitable for everyday saucepans and pots, while the silicone handle ensures a secure grip even with damp hands or near heat. The red knob naturally complements contemporary kitchen accessories and textiles. Project notes: diameter 16 cm, height 5 cm. Stainless steel knob with red silicone coating. Tempered glass. Net weight 450 g. Produced in a limited edition - end of series.
