Alessi — STEN ABGMP3631B | glass lid with black silicone knob

A seemingly simple object, yet one capable of redefining the meaning of care in the everyday act of cooking. The STEN lid features a transparent glass disk that invites the eye inside the pot, retaining aromas and heat without interrupting the visual dialogue with the cooking process. The black silicone-covered steel knob is the detail that makes all the difference: substantial, tactile, and safe to grip even when the pot is hot, it gives form to the practical attention to the act of use that Alessi has always placed at the heart of its work. STEN is a creation by Giulio Iacchetti, a Milanese designer and one of the most authoritative voices in the contemporary Italian design scene, a two-time winner of the Compasso d'Oro Award, capable of identifying everyday life as the territory where design becomes culture. With Alessi, Iacchetti has explored the grammar of kitchen accessories with the same seriousness reserved for objects of more noble use, giving each piece a clear and recognizable formal coherence. At Stilmobili, we chose STEN because it represents that rare quality of design capable of speaking to those who cook mindfully: those who do not want to give up aesthetics even in front of the stove, and who recognize in a well-resolved detail the mark of an authentic design culture. It is the ideal complement to a kitchen that takes shape methodically, where every accessory has a reason to exist. Design notes: diameter 16 cm, height 5 cm. Glass lid; stainless steel knob with black silicone coating. Net weight 450 g. End-of-line item - limited availability.
