Alessi — Snow Cube GJ02 3 | Blown glass Christmas decoration

A cube of snow suspended in time. The Snow Cube GJ02 3 is a blown-glass Christmas decoration that carries all the handcrafted magic of a handmade object: slightly irregular surfaces, color applied with a painterly gesture, and light filtering through it to cast shifting reflections on the tree or windowsill. In its compact dimensions - just over five centimeters per side, almost nine centimeters high - lies the precise measure of a distilled Christmas emotion. Behind Snow Cube are two unmistakable names in contemporary Italian design: Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, artists and designers who move effortlessly between comics, pop art, and cult objects. Their contribution to the AlessiPalinsesto collection - the project through which Alessi explores the aesthetics of the festive season through distinctive artistic languages - brings a subtle, almost domestic irony to this small glass cube, transforming the decorative into the narrative. An object that tells a story, even when no one is looking at it. We chose Snow Cube because it perfectly embodies what we look for in the Christmas decorations we bring into our store: quality you can feel to the touch, a story you can read in its form, and originality that does not shout. It is designed for those who want a tree that reflects a distinct taste, for those who give gifts with intention, and for those who know that even a glass cube can be a small aesthetic manifesto. Project notes: mouth-blown glass, hand-decorated. Dimensions 5.5 × 5.5 × 8.5 cm. Weight 135 g. Part of the AlessiPalinsesto collection, fall/winter season.
