The Bark collection was born from the imagination of Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, a designer couple inspired by the trees surrounding their home - a place of work, meditation, and experimentation. Alessi, founded in 1921 on Lake Orta and long a research laboratory in the applied arts, has translated that vision into steel: an industrial material that here becomes almost organic.
