An object that plays with visual memory and brings the elegance of an unexpected detail to the table.

Why we chose it for you

The design was conceived by Lluís Clotet, a Catalan architect fascinated by the idea of reproducing the random creases of a foil tray in steel. Sarrià's wavy edge is created using cold forming in a single operation: a highly complex industrial process that transforms a noble, durable material into something that seems almost fragile, almost improvised. It is this tension between technique and appearance that makes the piece worthy of the Alessi tradition — an Italian workshop of applied arts since 1921.

Features

Material: Stainless steel

Diameter: 27.50 cm

Height: 6.50 cm

Craftsmanship: Crinkled edge created using cold forming in a single operation

Designer: Lluís Clotet

Ideal for

Place it on the table as a centerpiece for bread and breadsticks during an elegant dinner, or leave it on display in the kitchen or on the counter as a decorative object in its own right.
