Alessi — Santiago DC05/1 GD | Gold-colored Chipperfield table spoon

There is an almost architectural purity to the Santiago spoon. Its form does not seek ornamentation or pursue excess: it extends along its nineteen centimeters with a composure that is, in itself, an aesthetic statement. The 18/10 stainless steel - a noble, durable alloy capable of holding the light - receives a gold finish here that transforms every meal into an act of mindful care. Not ostentatious gold, but gold as temperature, as warmth retained in the metal. Santiago was born from the pencil of David Chipperfield, the world-renowned British architect known for museum projects such as Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie and the Natural History Museum of Berlin. With Alessi, Chipperfield brings to the table the same grammar that governs his buildings: lines that breathe, proportions measured to the millimeter, an elegance that does not need to raise its voice. The Santiago collection is cutlery that reflects his vision: everyday objects treated with the same design rigor reserved for permanent architecture. At Stilmobili, we chose Santiago because it embodies exactly what we look for when curating our selection: objects that know how to remain discreet yet never go unnoticed. It is the ideal spoon for those who set a table with intention, for whom Sunday lunch is a ritual, and for those who give - or treat themselves to - something that lasts over time and improves with age. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel with a gold finish, length 19 cm. Designer: David Chipperfield. Launch season: spring/summer. Part of the Santiago cutlery collection for Alessi.
