Alessi — Rundes Modell JH01/18 | Hoffmann fish knife

There is something extraordinarily intact about Rundes Modell: a geometry that does not age, a formal precision perceived as soon as the fingers close around the handle. The JH01/18 fish knife is made of 18/10 stainless steel, a material that reflects every detail of the design in the light, enhancing the clean profiles and the coherence of a project conceived down to the smallest detail. At the table, it is a tool used with a certain awareness: it is not merely cutlery, but a culture of gesture. Rundes Modell was created by Josef Hoffmann, the Viennese architect and designer, one of the founders of the Wiener Werkstätte in 1903 and a seminal figure in European modernism. His approach - a synthesis of function, restrained ornamentation, and constructive rigor - is perfectly legible in this series, where the roundness of the forms engages in dialogue with an entirely Central European sobriety. Produced by Alessi in the Officina Alessi collection, this cutlery represents one of the most successful exercises in design archaeology: bringing a historic design back into production without betraying its spirit. We chose it because it belongs to that rare category of objects that enrich a table without overpowering it. It is the ideal complement for those who love creating a distinctive table setting, capable of telling guests something about themselves. It should be noted that the product is classified as end of line: a detail that enhances its value for collectors and for those who wish to complete or preserve a service of rare stylistic coherence. Project notes: length 19 cm, 18/10 stainless steel, Officina Alessi collection, autumn/winter range. End of line.
