Alessi — Rocc MA05S1S | Marble scented candle in stainless steel

A flame enclosed in metal. Rocc is a scented candle that transforms the ritual of lighting it into an architectural gesture: the 18/10 stainless steel container, with its perfectly aligned lid, holds 250 grams of vegetable-based wax scented with the Marble fragrance. The cylindrical form is rigorous, almost austere, yet the light that filters through and the warmth that spreads through the air make it extraordinarily alive. Marble evokes the mineral freshness of stone, a note that settles over spaces with discretion and persistence. Rocc was born from the vision of Michael Anastassiades, a Cypriot-British designer among the most refined voices on the international design scene. Known for his collaboration with FLOS and for objects that explore the boundary between sculpture and function, Anastassiades brings the same essentiality that characterizes his work to this collection for Alessi: nothing is accidental, every proportion is chosen, every material speaks for itself. The result is an object that needs no decoration because it is already, in itself, a statement of style. We at Stilmobili chose Rocc because it perfectly embodies the tension between rigor and sensuality that we seek in every piece of our selection. It is ideal for those who furnish their home thoughtfully - for those who consider fragrance not an accessory, but an authentic component of the domestic atmosphere. Perfect on a shelf, bedside table, or at the center of an arrangement of objects, Rocc works both as a candle and as a tabletop sculpture. Project notes: diameter 12 cm, height 7 cm.
