Alessi — Ladybug King MJ16 8 | Porcelain Christmas decoration

There is something ancient and fairy-tale-like about the Ladybird King: its round shape, the white hand-decorated porcelain, the colorful details that seem to have come straight from the illustration of a children's book forgotten in the attic. Within its compact dimensions - just over eight centimeters per side - an entire narrative universe is concentrated, the kind that only certain objects know how to preserve. Hung on the tree or placed on a shelf, it catches the light with the discretion characteristic of beautiful things. Behind this little sovereign is Marcello Jori, a Bolognese artist and illustrator who is among the most original voices of his generation, moving effortlessly between painting, comics, and design. His collaboration with Alessi gave rise to the collection that brings his fantastic creatures - bizarre, tender, ironic - into the realm of household objects. The Ladybird King is the child of that vision: a Christmas decoration that does not depict Christmas, but reinvents it through the filter of a free and personal imagination. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it perfectly represents what we look for when we talk about designer decoration: not just any ornament, but a small gesture of style capable of telling the story of who we are. It is the ideal gift for those who love design with a soul, for those who decorate the tree with the same care as a styled display - attentively, tastefully, and with a touch of cultured irony. Also suitable for those who collect Alessi limited editions or simply want to give something unexpected. Project notes: Made of porcelain with entirely hand-painted decoration. Dimensions: 8.5 × 6 × 8.5 cm. Marked as a discontinued item, to be considered a collectible.
