Alessi — Pulcina MDL11 W | White resin De Lucchi milk frother

There is something tender and precise, almost affectionate, in the way Pulcina sits in the hand. Its white thermoplastic resin body has the lightness of an object designed for the everyday gesture - the small, ritual act of morning coffee transformed into something more. The stainless steel whisk vibrates silently in the milk, and within seconds the surface fills with foam: dense, velvety, ready to welcome an espresso or form the base of a carefully crafted homemade cappuccino. The rechargeable battery makes it self-contained and cordless, always ready on the kitchen counter. Behind this object's apparent simplicity is the signature of Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential architects and designers on the contemporary Italian scene, a leading figure in the Memphis movement in the 1980s who later became a master of a design capable of speaking to industry without losing its soul. With Alessi, De Lucchi explored the boundary between domestic function and poetic narrative: Pulcina belongs to this tradition, where even the simplest gesture deserves a worthy tool. We at Stilmobili chose it because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that do not merely perform a function, but know how to be. Pulcina is ideal for those who love the coffee ritual, those who arrange a kitchen with an eye for aesthetics without sacrificing practicality, and those looking for a refined and original gift, capable of surprising with discretion.
