Alessi — Pulcina MDL02 MDL02/6 R | Red aluminum espresso maker

There is something irresistibly lively about La Pulcina: its rounded, compact silhouette, the short, pointed spout reminiscent of a chick's beak, and the bright red of the handle and knob, which brightens the stovetop even before the coffee begins to rise. Made of cast aluminum, with finishes carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, this six-cup coffee maker is designed for those who refuse to choose between beauty and functionality: the spout's design, engineered to retain the aromas from the moment of extraction, transforms every morning into a small ritual of pleasure. La Pulcina is the creation of Michele De Lucchi, an architect and designer among the most influential figures in the Italian and international scene, who was already a leading figure in the Memphis movement in the 1980s and later became known for institutional, industrial, and domestic projects of extraordinary consistency. With Alessi, De Lucchi brings his humanistic vision of design: objects that speak, have character, and establish a daily dialogue with those who use them. La Pulcina is exactly that — an object with its own identity, capable of becoming a constant and cherished presence in the kitchen. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it embodies what we look for in every piece in our selection: the ability to elevate an everyday gesture into an aesthetic experience. It is the perfect gift for those who love coffee with the same intensity with which they love design, and who find in the moka ritual the most sincere moment of the day. Ideal for a contemporary kitchen, yet iconic enough to belong anywhere. Project notes: moka coffee maker in cast aluminum, with red polyamide handle and knob. Capacity 30 cl, six cups.
