Alessi — Pulcina MDL02/6 MDL02/6 BB | Black aluminum coffee maker 6

There is something irresistibly alive about the Pulcina: a neck that stretches upward, a beak that projects gracefully, a silhouette that seems to hold its breath before pouring. Made of black cast aluminum with a polyamide handle and knob, this six-cup espresso coffee maker is not simply a tool for preparing coffee - it is a presence on the stovetop, a small domestic sculpture that transforms the morning ritual into a mindful gesture. Michele De Lucchi, one of the undisputed leading figures in contemporary Italian design, has created this object with the lightness and precision that characterize his perspective on the world of everyday objects. The Pulcina was born from an obsession with an apparently technical detail: the inner profile of the spout is designed to stop the coffee foam inside the boiler, allowing only the purest, most aromatic liquid to pass through. The form, evocative as it is of a newly hatched chick, is the poetic response to a real engineering problem - a balance Alessi has always pursued between function and storytelling. At Stilmobili, we chose the Pulcina because it perfectly embodies the tension we love: objects that justify themselves every day through use, yet never cease to surprise you with their presence. It is the ideal gift for someone who already has everything but is still looking for something truly worthwhile. For those who prepare coffee as an act of love. For those who never separate aesthetics from experience. Project notes: espresso coffee maker in cast aluminum, matte black finish. Capacity 30 cl, six cups. Dimensions 20 × 12 × 26 cm.
