Alessi — Pots&Pans AJM200/20 | 20 cm stainless steel lid

A perfect circle of polished 18/10 stainless steel. The lid from Jasper Morrison's Pots&Pans collection is one of those objects that can transform the everyday act of cooking into something more mindful: an essential form, a surface that reflects light discreetly, a carefully calibrated weight that rests on the rim of the pot with the silent precision of someone who has thought of everything. Twenty centimeters in diameter, two and a half centimeters of visual thickness — enough to contain a whole design universe. Jasper Morrison, the undisputed master of British functionalist design, conceived Pots&Pans for Alessi as part of the "A di Alessi" collection, the line created to make the Italian quality of the Crusinallo brand accessible without sacrificing an ounce of formal rigor. Morrison always works by subtraction: every unnecessary element is eliminated, and what remains is distilled to its most honest form. This lid is a practical demonstration of that philosophy. We at Stilmobili chose it because we believe the kitchen deserves the same aesthetic care as the living room. It is intended for those who purchase pieces from the Pots&Pans collection with the intention of building a coherent, long-lasting kitchen set, but also for those looking for a replacement worthy of an already established project. It naturally pairs with the casseroles and frying pans from the same series, but its clean geometry also makes it versatile in mixed settings. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, polished finish. Diameter 20 cm. A di Alessi collection, designed by Jasper Morrison. Included in the spring/summer line-up.
