Alessi — Plissé | De Lucchi Design Citrus Juicer

Alessi Plissé — The Citrus Juicer That Stays on Display

There is something rare about an appliance that does not hide away: Alessi's Plissé is designed to stay on the countertop, like a small sculpture illuminated by the morning light. Every glass of juice becomes a mindful gesture, marked by a form that combines architectural rigor with everyday warmth.

Why we chose it for you

Michele De Lucchi - architect by training and visionary designer - designed an object for Alessi that expresses its dual nature: functional enough, and beautiful enough that you will not want to put it away. Founded in 1921 on Lake Orta and long a research laboratory for the applied arts, Alessi has transformed this citrus juicer into a small piece of domestic architecture. The generous container, precise spout, and steel strainer complete a cohesive system in which every component has an aesthetic as well as a practical purpose.

Features

• Material: Thermoplastic resin for the body, steel strainer and spout
• Dimensions: Height 28 cm, diameter 18.5 cm
• Designer: Michele De Lucchi for Alessi
• Production: Alessi, Italy - an international benchmark in applied design since 1921

For anyone who pays attention to every detail of breakfast and refuses to give up on aesthetics, even in the most everyday use. A distinctive gift for a new home or for someone who already has everything, but not this yet. Also perfect as a collectible piece for enthusiasts of contemporary Italian design.
