Alessi — Plissé MDL19 W | White resin rotating capsule holder

There is something hypnotic about the gesture of rotating the Plissé: five concentric levels spin on themselves, light and precise, revealing the capsules arranged in a circle like petals in a miniature architectural composition. The white thermoplastic resin creates a surface that is soft to the eye and solid to the touch, able to complement any contemporary kitchen without ever giving in to the temptation of camouflage. The white chosen by De Lucchi is not neutral by convention - it is a declaration of formal purity. Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential architects and designers on the Italian scene, created the Plissé with his customary ability to find beauty in everyday function. The name itself evokes the tailoring technique of pleating: a repeated, rhythmic geometry translated into the overlapping rotating shelves. An object born of necessity - holding up to 40 capsules compatible with Nespresso® machines - that transcends it, becoming a fully fledged furnishing element. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that do not merely occupy space, but interpret it. It is designed for those who see the kitchen as a place of aesthetic care as well as practicality, for those who do not want to choose between order and beauty. A quality gift for connoisseurs, or a quiet investment in everyday life. Project notes: five independent rotating shelves, total capacity of 40 Nespresso®-compatible capsules. Dimensions: 14.7 × 15 × 23.7 cm. White thermoplastic resin. Designer Michele De Lucchi for Alessi, permanent collection.
