Alessi — Plissé MDL17GR MDL17GR/UK | Green resin personal blender

There is something immediately recognizable about Plissé: that surface of regular folds that gives the object its name and transforms it from a simple appliance into a sculptural presence on the kitchen countertop. The green thermoplastic resin — a color that evokes nature without giving in to the banality of botanical décor — envelops the forms with a rare aesthetic coherence in the world of small appliances. The 55 cl PCTG container and mini chopper complete a system designed to accompany daily rituals: the morning smoothie, the improvised sauce, the quick and precise gesture of those who love to cook well even when they have little time. Plissé was born from the collaboration between Alessi and Michele De Lucchi, an architect and designer among the most influential figures on the Italian and international scene, cofounder of Memphis and later the protagonist of a career marked by a constant exploration of the relationship between industrial form and human warmth. With this project, De Lucchi brings to small domestic appliances the same sculptural attention that has characterized his production of objects and architecture: every line bends the material with intent, every detail — from the lid spout to the chopper's blade protection — is resolved with functional elegance. At Stilmobili, we chose Plissé because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that do not hide away in drawers. It is designed for those who see the kitchen as a space for creative expression, for those who do not separate aesthetics from everyday performance. The 380 W provide tangible power, while the compact design — 11.6 cm in diameter, 35.4 cm in height — makes it suitable even for more limited kitchen countertops. Project notes: thermoplastic resin with a raised pleated finish, green. 55 cl PCTG container with spout lid. Mini chopper with blade protection system. UK plug included. 380 W.
