Alessi — Plissé MDL17 W | White resin personal blender

There is something immediate and reassuring about Plissé: the grooved surface running across the white thermoplastic resin body is not merely an ornamental detail, but a tactile signature, an invitation to hold an object that has also considered the gesture of the person using it. The 550 ml PCTG container - transparent, lightweight, and durable - is paired with a spout lid that turns the blender into a practical companion for breakfast or lunch away from home. The integrated mini chopper, with its blade protection function, completes an appliance designed for those who want efficiency without giving up style. Plissé was created by Michele De Lucchi, an architect and designer among the most authoritative figures in the Italian design scene, who first rose to prominence with the Memphis Movement and later pursued a design research spanning decades of industrial design, architecture, and exhibition design. With Alessi, De Lucchi creates an object that belongs to the tradition of the "dream factory" in Crusinallo: not just another appliance, but an artefact in which function and poetry are equally balanced. The plissé pattern - an explicit reference to the folds of fabric - brings an artisanal, almost sartorial memory to an everyday object. We at Stilmobili chose it because it is exactly the kind of piece that tells the story of a kitchen without shouting about it. It is for those who already have everything they need and are looking for something that also has a reason to stay on the counter, on display, as one might display a book or a vase. Ideal as a tasteful gift or a small personal luxury. Project notes: 380 W of power, height 35.4 cm, diameter 11.6 cm. European plug. Net weight 2.13 kg. Available in white.
