Alessi — Plissé MDL17 MDL17 W/UK | White De Lucchi personal blender

There is something unexpectedly poetic about a blender. Plissé knows it, and demonstrates it with the ease of someone who does not need to raise their voice to be noticed. The pleated surface that gives the object its name - that plastic embroidery reminiscent of pleated fabric, origami paper, and grazing light on a Milanese facade - transforms an everyday appliance into a small exercise in style. The white thermoplastic resin body is compact, clean, and designed to sit on the kitchen counter without asking permission. The 55 cl PCTG container comes with a mini chopper featuring a blade protection system: everything you need, nothing superfluous. Michele De Lucchi designed this piece as part of a reflection that has accompanied him for decades: the form of domestic objects as a language of everyday living. One of the most authoritative architects and designers on the Italian scene, De Lucchi has brought to Plissé the tension between structural rigor and formal warmth that characterizes his work. The pleated motif is not applied decoration: it is structure, rhythm, and the way the object responds to light and the hand. At Stilmobili, we chose Plissé because it embodies exactly what we seek in the pieces we showcase: a function resolved with elegance, an aesthetic that does not age, a name behind the design. It is the right object for those who arrange a kitchen with the same care with which they choose a sofa or a print to hang. Ideal as a quality gift, or as the finishing touch in an already carefully curated kitchen. Project notes: 380 W of power, height 35.4 cm, diameter 11.6 cm. Available with a UK plug.
