Alessi — Plissé MDL15 MDL15 W/CH | Double white resin toaster

There is something deeply reassuring about the Plissé's form: its softly ridged profile, the white surface that diffuses the morning light, the quiet solidity of an object that knows exactly what to do and does it gracefully. Made of white thermoplastic resin with an 18/10 stainless steel brioche-warming rack, this long-slot, two-compartment toaster does not try to hide among the kitchen accessories - on the contrary, it redefines them all around itself. Its 1700 watts of power are concealed behind a silhouette that seems designed more for a design museum than a countertop, yet it is there every day, perfectly at ease. The Plissé was created by Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential architects and designers in the contemporary Italian scene, who was already a leading figure in the Memphis movement in the 1980s and later pursued a formal exploration always oriented toward a synthesis of function and poetic narrative. With Alessi, De Lucchi created a collection of small appliances that brings his name into the heart of the home: objects capable of transforming an everyday gesture into a conscious aesthetic experience. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it embodies exactly what we look for in every piece: the ability to inhabit a space without overpowering it, to be distinctive without being redundant. It is the ideal companion for those who furnish their kitchen with the same care they devote to the living room, for those who refuse to accept that usefulness must come at the expense of beauty. Project notes: dimensions 46.5 × 18.5 × 25 cm. Includes a white adapter and removable brioche-warming rack. Power: 1700W. Compatible with long-format sandwich bread and standard brioche.
