Alessi — Plissé MDL13B MDL13B/USA | De Lucchi induction milk frother

There is something deeply artisanal about the act of making a cappuccino, in the ritual of milk slowly frothing and transforming. Plissé was created to inhabit this moment with a form that is already, in itself, an aesthetic statement: the black thermoplastic resin body ripples into fine vertical ridges - the folds evoked by the name - recalling the weave of a fine fabric and translating the memory of something tailored into industrial plastic. The internal 18/10 stainless steel jug completes the design with the quiet precision of high-quality technical materials. Michele De Lucchi designed this object with the same attention he has brought to decades of work spanning architecture, industrial design, and installation. A master of rationalism tempered by humanism, De Lucchi transforms a kitchen appliance into a small formal manifesto: function is not hidden, but celebrated. Plissé belongs to the AlessiPalinsesto collection for the fall/winter season, created for those who do not separate usefulness from beauty, even in the most everyday gestures. At Stilmobili, we chose Plissé because it embodies exactly what we seek: objects that gain meaning over time, withstand the distraction of repeated use, and continue to surprise. It is the ideal tool for those who love entertaining - and for those who, even alone, refuse to give up the idea that breakfast deserves careful staging. The USA plug also makes it perfect as a gift for anyone living overseas who does not want to give up the Italian ritual. Project notes: multifunctional induction milk frother, 600 W, capacity 35 cl.
