Alessi — Plissé MDL13 W | De Lucchi white induction milk frother

There is something deeply reassuring about the Plissé's form: its grooved surface, reminiscent of the pleated fabric from which it takes its name, transforms an everyday gesture - heating milk or preparing a cappuccino - into a small aesthetic ritual. The white thermoplastic resin envelops the induction base with an almost sartorial texture, while the 18/10 stainless steel jug brings to the surface the technical precision that Alessi never abandons, even when the design embraces the realm of domestic appliances. Michele De Lucchi designed this multifunctional milk frother with his customary ability to give soul to everyday objects. An architect and designer among the most influential figures on the Italian and international scene, formerly a leading member of the Memphis Group and later founder of AMDL CIRCLE, De Lucchi has always believed that formal beauty and function can inhabit the same space without compromise. The Plissé is proof of this: 600 watts of power, 35 cl capacity, compact dimensions - yet a visual presence that does not go unnoticed on the kitchen counter. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it perfectly represents that boundary we are passionate about: the point where auteur design enters everyday life, ennobles it, and makes it worthy of being lived with greater awareness. It is the right object for those who do not separate aesthetic quality from functional quality, for those who consider the kitchen an extension of their personal taste and not merely an operational space.
