Alessi — Plissé MDL09G MDL09G/USA | De Lucchi gray resin blender

There is something almost sartorial about the way Plissé occupies the kitchen counter. Its vertical form, sinuous and structured at the same time, recalls the textile heritage of plissé itself — that orderly, repeated fold that transforms a simple material into something measured, almost architectural. Made of grey thermoplastic resin, with a transparent 1.5-liter graduated PCTG jug, the blender asserts itself in the domestic space not as a tool to hide away, but as a presence to display. Michele De Lucchi — one of the most influential architects and designers in Italy, a leading figure in the Memphis Movement and later a refined interpreter of warm, humanistic modernism — lends his signature to this object with his customary ability to find grace in everyday objects. With Alessi, De Lucchi has built a dialogue composed of soft volumes and formal rigor, where function is never a limitation but the starting point for every poetic tension. Plissé belongs to the Alessi collection and perfectly embodies the brand's philosophy: objects that inhabit the kitchen with the same dignity as a work of art inhabits a living room. We chose it for those who do not separate aesthetics from everyday life. For those who prepare a juice in the morning and want that act to have its own form, its own specific weight in the course of the day. With its 700W of power and 150 cl jug, it is a fully functional object — but above all, it is a statement of intent about viewing the kitchen as a space of culture, as well as care. Project notes: dimensions 23.5 × 18.5 × 42.5 cm. Power: 700W. Graduated PCTG jug, grey thermoplastic resin body. USA plug. Discontinued product — limited availability.
