Alessi — Plissé MDL09 MDL09 W/CH | Michele De Lucchi designer blender

There is something surprisingly alive about the form of the Plissé: the pleated surface running along the body of the blender evokes hand-worked fabric, the artisan's repeated gesture, the material preserving the memory of the person who shaped it. Made of white thermoplastic resin with a graduated PCTG jug of crystal-clear transparency, the Plissé brings a sculptural presence to the kitchen that transcends the appliance category. Its 42.5-centimeter height stands on the countertop with the quiet dignity of an object designed to last - in use and in the eye. Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential architects and designers on the contemporary Italian scene, has created this project with the poetic consistency that has always distinguished his work. De Lucchi - already a leading figure in the Memphis Movement in the 1980s, then creative director of Olivetti, and later founder of AMDL CIRCLE - explores the theme of texture here as a formal language: the pleat is not ornament, it is structure. It is how the surface speaks of lightness and rigor at the same time, of artisanal tradition reinterpreted through industrial production. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it represents exactly what we look for: objects that inhabit space with intelligence and beauty, never reduced to mere function. It is the ideal blender for those who furnish their kitchen with the same care with which they choose a work of art, for those who accept no compromise between aesthetics and performance - 700W of power in a casing that deserves to be on display even when not in use. Project notes: 1.5-liter capacity, dimensions 23.5 × 18.5 × 42.5 cm. Available with a Swiss plug. Part of the Alessi permanent collection, fall/winter season.
