Alessi — Plissé MDL07 MDL07 W/UK | White De Lucchi electric citrus juicer

There is something almost sculptural about the way Plissé occupies the countertop. Its form — cylindrical, compact, wrapped in a texture of vertical pleats reminiscent of pleated fabric — transforms an everyday gesture, extracting juice from a citrus fruit, into a small aesthetic ritual. The white thermoplastic resin captures the morning light with the same discretion as an object that knows exactly what it is: it does not shout, it does not impose itself, it simply is. Michele De Lucchi — one of the most influential architects and designers on the Italian scene, co-founder of the Memphis movement in the 1980s and creator of projects for Olivetti, Deutsche Bahn, and dozens of European cultural institutions — has designed a citrus juicer for Alessi that bears his unmistakable signature: the ability to find elegance in elementary geometry. The collaboration with Alessi, the historic workshop of Italian quality founded in Omegna, forms part of that fertile dialogue between auteur design and the domestic object that has made the brand a global benchmark. We chose it for Stilmobili because Plissé belongs to that rare category of appliances that do not need to be hidden away in a cupboard. It is designed for those who care for the kitchen as they do every other room in the home — with attention to proportions, materials, and visual coherence. Eighty watts of quiet motor power, eighteen and a half centimeters in diameter, twenty-eight in height: a carefully calibrated presence, never intrusive. Project notes: Power 80W — Diameter 18.5 cm — Height 28 cm — Net weight 2.5 kg — Material: white thermoplastic resin — UK plug — Alessi collection, autumn/winter lineup.
