Alessi — Plissé MDL07 GR | Green De Lucchi electric citrus juicer

There is something almost botanical about Michele De Lucchi's Plissé: its delicate green, the ribbed surface reminiscent of the folds of a leaf or the veins of freshly picked fruit, and the shape that fits the hand with disarming naturalness. Made of thermoplastic resin, this 80W electric citrus juicer translates an idea of living matter into a household object, bringing color and character to the kitchen counter far beyond the moment of use. Michele De Lucchi - one of the most influential Italian architects and designers, a leading figure in the Memphis movement and later in decades of industrial and cultural design - has created with Plissé a piece that belongs to Alessi's great tradition of appliances conceived as objects of desire. The Plissé collection was born from the intuition of treating the surface as the primary expressive element: the pleat, that rhythmic, repeated fold which in tailoring evokes structured elegance, here becomes texture, identity, and instant recognizability. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it perfectly embodies what we seek: the ability to make the everyday extraordinary. It is the ideal citrus juicer for those who refuse to give up beauty even at breakfast, for those who experience the kitchen as a space for aesthetic as well as functional care. The green of this version - fresh, contemporary, never banal - makes it the undisputed star even in the most sophisticated kitchens. Project notes: height 28 cm, diameter 18.5 cm.
