Alessi — Plissé MDL06R MDL06R/USA | Red resin electric kettle

There is something almost sculptural about the Alessi Plissé: the pleated surface that runs along the body of the kettle is not merely an aesthetic choice, but a declaration of intent. The thermoplastic resin folds into regular vertical waves, evoking the fabric of a haute couture dress or the ribbing of an architectural column reduced to its essence. The vivid red - a red that allows no compromise - transforms an everyday gesture such as boiling water into a moment of visual pleasure, a small domestic theater that repeats itself every morning on the kitchen counter. Plissé was born from the pen of Michele De Lucchi, an architect and designer among the most visionary figures in the contemporary Italian scene. Already a leading figure in the Memphis movement in the 1980s and later founder of AMDL CIRCLE, De Lucchi brings to this project his ability to find poetry in industrial form. The kettle is part of the Alessi Palinsesto collection and interprets the language of kitchen appliances with cultured irony, demonstrating that even a utilitarian object can become a bearer of design culture. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it perfectly embodies what we love to convey: the point at which function and beauty stop negotiating and reach a perfect agreement. It is the ideal gift for those who inhabit the kitchen with aesthetic awareness, for the design collector who does not want to give up the everyday, and for those who know that a well-designed object changes - imperceptibly yet truly - the quality of every day. Project notes: 1.7-liter capacity, 1500W power, dimensions 21 × 16 × 29 cm. Version with American plug (USA). End of series - limited availability.
