Alessi — Plissé MDL06 MDL06 W/CH | White De Lucchi electric kettle

There is something deeply reassuring about the shape of the Plissé: a body wrapped in vertical grooves that evoke the pleated fabric from which it takes its name, surfaces that capture light and lend depth to an object that too often forgets that it is also architecture. Made of white thermoplastic resin, with the chromatic purity of one that has nothing to hide, this kettle brings to the cooktop the same formal tension expected of a collectible object. The Plissé was created by Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential architects and designers in the contemporary Italian scene, a leading figure in the Memphis movement and later the author of tireless research into the everyday object as a form of material culture. With Alessi, De Lucchi created a piece in which function is never separated from the aesthetic gesture: the pleated treatment of the surface is not ornament, but structure, identity. The kettle thus becomes a small domestic monument, capable of conversing equally well with minimalist kitchens and more eclectic interiors. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it embodies exactly what we look for in the pieces we offer: the ability to elevate the everyday without making it inaccessible. It is the ideal gift for those who appreciate design consciously, for those who furnish a kitchen as they would a living room, with care and visual consistency. The white version with matching adapter fits naturally into any neutral or monochromatic palette. Project notes: 2400W power, 1.7-liter capacity - generous enough for one more breakfast. Compact dimensions (21 × 16 × 29 cm) for an elegant presence on the countertop. Net weight 1.58 kg. Alessi collection, autumn/winter assortment.
