Alessi — Plissé MDL06 GR | Green De Lucchi electric kettle

There is something almost architectural about Plissé. The pleated surface that runs across the body of the kettle is not an ornament: it is structure, rhythm, identity. In green thermoplastic resin - a dense, tactile green capable of holding light without reflecting it - this object brings to the cooktop a presence rarely seen in appliances. The form is tall and compact, with proportions that recall a tabletop sculpture more than a utensil. Holding it by the handle is already a gesture unlike the usual one. Plissé was born from the mind of Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential Italian architects and designers of recent decades, already a leading figure in the Memphis Movement and later a refined interpreter of a modernism that was never cold, always lived-in. De Lucchi designs for Alessi with the same care he brings to designing buildings and public spaces: every detail is intended to last, to convey meaning. The pleated texture recalls couture fabrics and the drapery of contemporary architecture, transforming an everyday object into a piece capable of expressing a vision. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it perfectly embodies what we look for when selecting a product: not merely function, but the ability to change the mood of a space. The green Plissé MDL06 is ideal for anyone who wants to create a characterful kitchen, where every object - even the most ordinary - contributes to a coherent aesthetic vision. An absolutely high-quality gift, or a personal purchase for those who know how to recognize the difference. Project notes: capacity 1.7 liters, power 2400W, European plug. Dimensions 21 × 16 × 29 cm.
